Too many learners revise from question sets that are out of date, badly worded, or copied from somewhere else and never checked. You sit the real test, the questions don’t look like what you practised, and confidence turns into a guess. That gap is what we set out to close.
Easy Driving Test exists so any Australian can prepare properly for free. We want the practice to feel like the real exam — the same style of questions, the same hazard perception clip format, the same demands on your judgement — so that passing the practice actually means something. Learning to drive safely matters long after the test is over, so we’d rather you understand why an answer is right than memorise a letter. The free core will stay free; that is the whole point of it.
How we keep our practice accurate
Accuracy is the whole job. We build our questions against the official driver handbooks and the published material from each state and territory authority, and we re-check them when road rules or test formats change. Where something is specific to one state — question counts, pass marks, fees, booking steps — we say so and point you to the authority to confirm, rather than printing a number that might be wrong for where you live. Costs and rules genuinely vary across Australia, so "confirm with your state authority" is advice we mean.
We also hold a hard line on honesty. You will not find invented testimonials, star ratings we didn’t earn, fake urgency, a "promise you'll pass", or any claim to be affiliated with a government agency. If we get something wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Last verified 4 September 2026.

Where a detail like a pass mark, question count or fee is state-specific, we flag it and point you to your road authority to confirm rather than printing a number that might be wrong for where you live.
