Learning to Drive in Australia VS Canada

There are many differences between driving in Australia and Canada. In Australia, there are fewer cars on the road. This can make driving in Australia seem easier than driving in Canada. However, there are also some differences that can make driving in Australia more challenging.

For example, in Australia, you drive on the left side of the road. This can be confusing for Canadian drivers who are used to driving on the right side of the road. Additionally, the speed limit in Australia is often lower than the speed limit in Canada. This can be challenging for Canadian drivers who are used to driving faster.

Canada

In Canada, most people learn to drive through a professional driving school. The first step is to obtain a learner’s permit, which allows you to drive while supervised by a licensed driver. Once you have your permit, you can start taking driving lessons.

Most driving schools will teach you the basics of driving, including how to start and stop the car, how to turn, how to park, and how to parallel park. You will also learn how to signal, yield, and use roundabouts. Once you have mastered the basics, you will move on to more advanced skills, such as driving in city traffic and on highways.

You have to pass a written test in order to take the road test.  In Ontario, the g1 test will assess your skills and knowledge of the rules of the road. If you pass, you will be eligible for the g2 test.

Learning to drive can be a daunting task, but with the help of a professional driving school, you can be on the road in no time.

Australia

It's easy to learn to drive in Australia. The roads are well-maintained, and the traffic is light. There are plenty of driving schools around, so you can choose one that suits your needs and budget.

The first step is to get a learner's permit. You can do this by taking a written test at a driver's license office. The test is not difficult, but it is important to study the road rules before you take it. Once you have your learner's permit, you can start taking driving lessons.

Most driving schools will offer both theory and practical lessons. The theory lessons will teach you the basics of driving, such as how to control the car and how to read road signs. The practical lessons will give you a chance to put what you've learned into practice.

Once you feel confident behind the wheel, you can take the driving test. This is a practical test that will assess your skills and knowledge. If you pass, you will be issued a driver's license. You must be aware of every minor detail, as well as the vehicle's previous history. Despite the differences, it is not a drastic change as both include driving a vehicle with efficiency.
